Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan gives awards to environmental heroes which is consist of individual, community organizations, institutions, schools, companies, and government institutions in Jakarta.
We should appreciate their work
Awards categories are Company Performance Assessment Program (Properda) in environmental management for 19 activities; Adiwiyata Schools at provincial level for 21 schools; and Kalpataru for Environmental Servant.
Then, Environmental Coach and Rescue at provincial Level for four person; Kampung Iklim Program (Proklim) at provincial level for 10 RWs; and Environmental Care Communities.
Kebayoran Baru Puskesmas Gets National AwardAnies said, behind awards submission, there is a long hardwork from each of environmental heroes. Though sometimes it is not exposed, these awards recipients have been maintaining and caring the environment.
"They must be went through a long of hardships. It is incredible. We should appreciate their work," he said at City Hall, Tuesday (11/21).
He invites all sides to solve trash problems start from the upstream. Thus he encourages citizens to care and have a role in maintaining cleanliness.
"Today, we are happy since some of us want to take care in the downstream. Because in trash matters, we often want everything is done without any efforts," he said.
He added, it is possible to manage and maintain Jakarta environment properly if all sides want to participate.
"Let us make Jakarta becomes an environmental movement City," he closed.
