50 Palmerah Residents Join Entrepreneurship Coaching

West Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-dept. and One Kecamatan One Centre of Entrepreneurship (OK OCE) team hold entrepreneurship coaching on Thursday (11/23). 50 residents from six urban villages in Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta have joined this program.

We are ready to help residents to be independent entrepreneurs

West Jakarta KUKMP Sub-dept. Head, Nurainy Silviana said, participants have interest to become new entrepreneurs.

"Through this event, they can be new and successful entrepreneurs. We are ready to help residents to be independent entrepreneurs," she expressed.

OK OCE Socialized for Tanah Abang Entrepreneurs

She mentioned that her side has cooperated with DKI Bank and Jamkrida to help people who want to expand or open their business, but still hampered in having adequate capital.

"We are targeting 1,000 residents in each sub-district to join entrepreneurship coaching in 2018," she stated.

Palmerah Sub-district Head, Zery R. added, people joining this coaching must have skill and have opened their own business but not yet developed.

"There is one entrepreneur in Palmerah which has been coached through OK OCE program. He opens coconut shell craft business. Now his crafts have been imported to overseas. Soon, we want Palmerah resident to be a successful entrepreneur," he closed.
