"It's too expensive with the number of people there. Besides it is a tourist island, the responsible is its management, instead of Jakarta Provincial Government," he stressed, during discussion and deepening meeting on 2018 Draft APBD with Jakarta Water Resources Dept., Thursday (1/23).

Jakarta Water Resources Dept. Head, Teguh Hendarwan, agreed with the input from commission D to delete the IPA installation program.

Funds already budgeted for this project, he continued, will be allocated for clean water maintenance on other islands.

"Indeed we already have Rp 4.5 billion for Payung Island that is corrected by the council, and must be abolished. Considering the population is small, the budget is diverted for the maintenance of clean water on other islands," he uttered.
