Sheet Pile Proposed to Be Installed at Cakung Lama Riverbank

North Jakarta Mayor, Husein Murad proposes Cakung Lama Riverbank in Koja to be installed with sheet pile to provincial level. It is done to prevent landslide and road from collapse.

"Cakung Lama Riverbank must be installed with sheet pile thus the plaster will not collapse. I will propose it to provincial thus it can be realized soon," he said, Wednesday (11/29).

According to him, some parts of plaster have been eroded while the road which is in line with Cakung Lama River has been cracked and starting to collapse.

"Inspection roads are ideally provided on both right and left sides thus river becomes easier to be maintained. But we weed to see its trace," he stated.
