Rumah Karakter Kindergarten Students Get Fire Handling Socialization

Jagakarsa Sub-district Fire Handling and Rescue Unit conducts fire handling socialization towards students, teachers and parents of Rumah Karakter Kindergarten.

It's held to make people know the duty of firefighter

Socialization is done at RPTRA, Jangkrik Park, Jalan Jangkrik, RT 06/05 Ciganjur Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, Saturday (12/2).

Jagakarsa Sub-district Fire Handling and Rescue Sector X Section Head, Paryo said socialization is participated by 45 students.

"It's held to make people know the duty of firefighter," he told, Saturday (12/2).

Besides extinguishing the fire, he added, the firefighter also helps if there are disaster such as flood, landslide, fallen tree and so on.

"In this moment, we also teach them how to handle the fire using wet sack and portable fire extinguisher (APAR)," he said.
