Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. keeps improving preparation to arrange Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and MH. Thamrin.

It is done along with auction implementation for physical arrangement.
Sudirman-Thamrin Sidewalk will Be Designed as Citizen InteractionJakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal said, Sudirman-Thamrin arrangement is not only done for sidewalk, but also for road and green lanes.
"We are recently still improving Sudirman-Thamrin arrangement design," he expressed, Monday (4/12).
He mentioned, there are three institutions involved in the arrangement project. Two of them are from private sides that will build it from increase in developer compensation for Adding Building Floor Coefficient (KLB).
Meanwhile, PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) will build the remaining. The arrangement itself will spend around Rp 500 billion.
"Auction for physical work has been done by those three institutions," he added.
He added, each sidewalk would have an ideal width of 8-10 meters. Sidewalk along protocol road will be equipped with street furniture such as lamps, trees, shelters, benches, and others.
