Box Ducting Work on Jl. Lodan Raya Has Reached 90 Percent

Currently the contractor is still awaiting the goods from supplier

Box ducting installation on Jalan Lodan Raya, Ancol, Pademangan, North Jakarta has reached 90 percent with 32 holes that have been installed. Currently contractor side is still waiting for box lid completed by an iron frame.

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Utility Network and Road Infrastructure Section Head, Libertus Sagala said, 32 units of box ducting along road up to 800 meters have been installed. But the box lid is using ordinary concrete slab temporarily.

"Box ducting on Jalan Lodan Raya has been installed. But the lid will use concrete slabs. Later we will change it with iron frame," he explained, Tuesday (12/5).

According to him, the frame with 5 centimeters thick is stronger and not easily broken. It is needed since vehicles with very heavy tonnage are usually passing by the road. 

"Currently the contractor is still awaiting the goods from supplier," he informed.

By December 25, all of them are targeted could already be covered by concrete slabs. While the ducting box is installed with distance 25 meters for each. Each box has 1.8 meters long, 1.2 meters wide, with 2.3-2.5 meters depth.
