572,123 Children in W. Jakarta Get MR Immunization

572,123 children from age 6 months to 15 years in West Jakarta have received measles rubella (MR) immunization during August to September 2017.
West Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Head, Weningtyas Purnomo Rini said MR immunization percentage in West Jakarta is reaching 97.1 percent of total 589,212 children based on Statistic Center Board (BPS) data.
MR Immunization in Central Jakarta Has Exceeded Target"This number has exceeded our target, which is 95 percent," she said, Tuesday (12/5).
The immunization itself is held in schools, malls, and Kota Tua with help from medical team from private hospitals.
"The highest number of the MR immunization is from Taman Sari Sub-district with total 21,033 children or 102.8 percent from our target of 20,461 children," she added.
Based on West Jakarta Health Sub-dept.'s data, immunization service in eight sub-district is given to 76,628 children in Kembangan Sub-district; 83,948 children in Kebon Jeruk; 44,780 children in Palmerah; 43,239 children in Grogol Petamburan; 46,446 children in Tambora; 21,033 children in Taman Sari; 140,786 children in Cengkareng; and 115,260 children in Kalideres.
