South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. has installed Global Positioning System (GPS) in 56 operational cars.
GPS installation is done thus personnel will be easier to reach fire location
South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head, Irwan said GPS is installed in standard rescue unit cars, pump cars, light rescue cars, heavy duty rescue cars, quick response cars, and fire trucks.
