Pasar Jaya Hoped Able to Keep Abreast of Times

Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda hopes Pasar Jaya must be able to keep abreast of the times, following the change of Jakarta BUMDs' legal entity from Regional Company (PD) becomes Regional Public Company (Perumda).

We hope that with the change of legal entity, Pasar Jaya will be more creative to keep up with the times

"We hope that with the change of legal entity, Pasar Jaya will be more creative to keep up with the times," expressed Merry Hotma, Vice Chairwoman of Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda, Thursday (12/14).

According to her, BUMDs engaged in the field of marketing have reaped a lot of success by creating price stabilization and made the dwelling integrated with the market.

"We must advance to compete, as in Singapore is already so. Even Vietnam, is very neat and has clean market," he told.

So far, her party has completed two deliberations on the draft bylaw as the legal basis for the change of Pasar Jaya into Perumda. Each Raperda in question is about market and Perumda Pasar Jaya.

"We continue to finalize draft bylaw about Management and Development of Pasar Jaya," he said.
