South Jakarta Starts to Harvest Various Vegetables at Ragunan BPP

South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. is harvesting vegetables on a land belongs to the Ragunan Agriculture Counseling Hall (BPP), Pasar Sub-district, South Jakarta.

These vegetables are the result of nursery for a month and do not use chemical fertilizer

Wachyuni, Head of South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. said types of vegetables harvested are kangkung, spinach, and mustard greens. Its harvesting process takes between 27-30 days.

"These vegetables are the result of nursery for a month and do not use chemical fertilizer," he explained, Saturday (12/16).

He added the Ragunan BPP is a place of agricultural extension workers to innovate and conduct coaching.

"People who want to learn and serious to harvest vegetables can gain knowledge in Ragungan BPP Ragunan," he uttered.
