Sandi Wants Students to Be Educated About Dangers of Drugs

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno revealed, students in Jakarta must be educated about the dangers of drug abuse. Hence, it is a must to have material related to the dangers of drugs in the school curriculum.

According to him, preventive measures should be intensified, considering the current drugs trafficking is very worrying. Moreover, most of the victims are young people.

"There must be material about the dangers of drugs in the curriculum at the elementary, junior and senior high schools and the equivalent. We'll coordinate with the Education Dept. soon," he expressed, Tuesday (12/19).

Jakarta Acts Decisively on Discotheque Involved With Drugs

He received a proposal from Jakarta BNNP that saying the need for the issuance of the gubernatorial regulation and the bylaw related to the eradication of the abuse and trafficking of the illicit substance known as P4GN.

"We will follow up the proposal of making Gubernatorial Regulation or Bylaw related to P4GN," he stated.
