Renovation of 10 GORs for Asian Games Has Reached 70 Percent

10 sport halls (GOR) in Jakarta that will be used to support the upcoming Asian Games are still under renovation stage and it has reached 70 percent. It is targeted to be completed in May 2018.

The renovation itself has been done since October 2017

Sunaryo, Section Head of Supervision and Facility Control, City Youth and Sports Dept. disclosed the 10 GORs would be used as a training ground for volleyball and basketball.

Those GORs are Pulogadung GOR, Cempaka Putih GOR, Sunter GOR, Soemantri Brodjonegoro GOR, Bulungan GOR, Ragunan GOR, Senen GOR, West Jakarta GOR, North Jakarta GOR,. and East Jakarta GOR.

"The renovation itself has been done since October 2017," he stated, Wednesday (12/20).

Fund for its renovation has spent at Rp 52,483 billion through the developer's building's floor coefficient (KLB). This renovation includes fields, lamps, toilets, and ceramics.

"We use parquet material for its field," he stated.
