DKI Encourages Creative Economy Development

Jakarta Provincial Government is trying to encourage development in creative economy products, such as lower middle society.

We wi ll know our strength in creative economy after PDRB has been issued

Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda) Head, Tuty Kusumawati said her side has asked Indonesia Statistics (BPS) to issue creative economy's Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) result in Jakarta.

"We will know our strength in creative economy after PDRB has been issued," she mentioned in Regional Mid Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2018-2022, Friday (12/22).

She explained, Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to facilitate creative economy development for lower middle society thus Jakarta's economy could be better.

"Fashion, handicraft, performance art are included in creative economy. We will support and facilitate it. I hope this will enhance economic growth in Jakarta," she conveyed.
