East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-Dept. began to repair a collapsed channel crossing on Jalan Tanah Merdeka, RW 04, Kampung Rambutan, Ciracas. It has been ongoing since Saturday (12/23).
Repair is done by deepening the channel and install seven box culverts to withstand loads
Ciracas Sub-district Water Resources Sub-dept. Executing Unit Head,, Ika Nur Fitriasari said the channel collapsed is due to the passing heavy vehicles.

From seven box culverts, three out of them have been installed in the channel that has a length of seven meters.
"It's targeted to be completed within 15 days," he said.
