Transparency System to Strengthen Foundation of Jakarta Govt.

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps developing government management transparently. This way is conducted, either for management and use of funds by implementing tender and catalog systems or information transparency by uploading meetings and conferences on the youtube site. All was done to develop a stronger foundation of government in the future.

I hope what has been attempted today can be continued by the next leader

"I don't care if I'm not elected again in 2017. I deliberately want to instill a strong foundation of government here," said Acting Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama, at City Hall, Thursday (7/3).

Basuki disclosed Jakarta government has focused on construction of transportation modes and infrastructure expected to be completed in 2017. He hoped success that has been built, will resume by his successor in the future.

SKPD Leadership Meetings will Be Uploaded to Youtube

"I hope what has been attempted today can be continued by the next leader," he hoped.

He acknowledged several measures of budget transparency and upload meeting videos with a number of regional working units (SKPD) on the youtube site, are published to shown all his work all this time to public.

"My aim is people who open the meeting news via online can see the meeting as a whole," he said.

He explained, his party also implemented transparency measures, ranging from budget, salary and various other measures. Thus, Jakarta residents can monitor official's performance and government flows.

"Whoever my successor, I instill a high standard. If he does not follow my way, people will see and judge you're wrong. And you will be compared," he exclaimed.
