Anies Prays for The Happiness of Mass Wedding Couples

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan prays for the happiness of mass wedding couples. There are 437 people who have their wedding on Jalan MH Thamrin No. 10, Sunday (12/31) night.

"Tonight, I hope this wedding could lead to sakinah, mawadah, warohmah families," he wished.

He also prays this wedding couples to get descendants who are religious, devoted to parents, society and the country.

He mentioned, it is not only newlywed couples who are joined in this wedding procession, but also those who are married but haven't registered in civil administration.

Each wedding couples received a set of prayer (shalat) equipments, al quran, savings from Mandiri Syariah Bank Rp200 thousand per account, and 1 gram of gold from Antam.

"I hope they will love and respect each others. I also hope they can  be a better people. Thank you for all sides who assist this event," he stated.
