Dangdut Performance and Mass Marriage will Enliven New Year's Eve Event

Various events will be held to enliven New Year's Eve event which is held along Bundaran HI to Monas. Including dangdut performance and mass marriage procession.

It will perform hits music artists, including from Asian Academy, Dangdut Academy and others

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah said dangdut music performance will be held with collaboration between Jakarta Provincial Government with a national private television company.

"It will perform hits music artists, including from Asian Academy, Dangdut Academy and others," he expressed at Block G, City Hall, Wednesday (12/13).

Indonesian Culture Will Enliven New Year's Eve Celebration

Besides music performance, City also holds mass marriage procession towards 534 couples who haven't completed their marital status.

He added that mass marriage procession will be held on stage located on Jalan Thamrin park and ride.

"We have discussed it with Jakarta Religious Affairs (KUA) about its implementation. More than 100 marriage officiants have been prepared," he informed.

Other stages that located along Jalan Thamrin will be decorated with theme Diversity of Indonesia, especially in culinary.

"We invite 34 provincial representative offices in Jakarta to have a dinner to celebrate new year. They will be selling and give promotions," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor will convey their messages to Jakartans on the main stage in Monas.

"Governor and vice governor arrival will be welcomed with palang pintu tradition and ondel-ondel dance. Between players will be replying rhymes," he said.
