Jakarta Provincial Government is officially formed Corruption Prevention Committee (CP Committee) in order to implement good governance and clean government.
We want a basis change on system. Thus clean governance will last for a long time
CP Committee is formed through legal foundation about Governor Regulation No. 196/2017 which replaced Governor Regulation No. 187 about Governor Team for Accelerated Development.
Bambang Widjojanto will lead this committee. He has served KPK Deputy Head before. While for its member will be filled with Council member such as Nursyahbani Katjasungkana, Komjen Pol (Purn) Oegroseno, Tatak Ujiyati, and Muhammad Yusuf.
City Honored as Best Gratification Control System by KPKJakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan mentioned definition of good governance is clean, accountable, based on applicable law, effective, efficient, and participative.
"This committee will support integrated data system development and Jakarta Government civil apparatus to build integrity," he said in CP Committee inauguration at City Hall, Wednesday (1/3).
He explained, this committee has two main tasks. There are to monitor government management and save regional actual revenue (PAD). This way, hopefully Jakarta could improve its PAD and become a better City.
"CP Committee will be a connector between Jakarta Provincial Government and public or other national institutions such as KPK in monitoring and preventing corruption," he stated.
He added, CP Committee will control clean governance to implement continuously.
"We want a basis change on system. Thus clean governance will last for a long time," he said.
