Pisangan Lama Loksem Peddlers will Be Relocated Soon

150 peddlers who occupy the temporary location (loksem) in Pisangan Lama, Pulogadung, East Jakarta are immediately relocated into Enjo Market.

We will accommodate 240 peddlers. Thus there have been 150 peddlers registered and are ready to be relocated

PD Pasar Jaya has prepared the 40x50-square-meter tents and tables for peddlers.

"We will accommodate 240 peddlers. Thus there have been 150 peddlers registered and are ready to be relocated," expressed Sion Purba, Manager of East Area for PD Pasar Jaya, Thursday (1/4).

His party has also prepared a land next to the empty market building. The land is prepared to anticipate the long queue of the peddler who wants to sell in the market area.

"In the market, sale operational will start at 6 PM-6 AM. Then for the tent will be used as parking lot," he stated. 

Up to now, opportunity is still open for peddlers who occupy the loksem in Pisangan Lama to register themselves to move to Enjo Market.

"We'll give free facilities with the provision of paying retribution in accordance with the applicable rules," he expressed.

In the meantime, Edi (36), one of peddlers admitted he was glad to be able to occupy the market stalls soon.

"The market is clean and cozy. Hopefully it can be realized soon," he hoped.
