City Involves IWAPI to Produce Asian Games Souvenirs

City Provincial Government has involved the Indonesian Businesswomens Association (IWAPI) to produce Asian Games Souvenirs.

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno disclosed his party along with IWAPI has made an agreement in strengthening the partner cooperation. That is by makong Asian Games souvenirs.

"We cooperate to make Asian Games souvenirs. Our time is seven months left. But I have yet to feel spirit of Asian Games," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (1/4).

All this time, IWAPI has been active as  partner of the city in program of women empowerment, especially in terms of economic and job opportunity.

He furthered, from 800 IWAPI members, 85 percent of them are small and medium enterprises (UKM)and 13 percent are medium enterprises and 2 percent are big enterpreneurs. 

"So I'm trying to encourage them cooperating with IWAPI for coloring Asian Games," he told.

At the same place, City IWAPI Chairwoman, Tatyana Sentani Sutara admitted she was ready to develop rhe city's econimic, especially for UKM.

"This is the same with the spirit of Mr. Sandi in OK OCE program. The impact is enormous," he said.
