Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin said, his side is still not sure how much land that can be freed for cemetery. Because land price in each areas are different.

According to the regulation, he continued, Jakarta Provincial Government must have 794 hectares of cemetery. Until now, it is only 611 hectares available.
"It is increased every year. Our obligation is to free 794 hectares of land in total," he added.
Beside purchasing new land, his side will also continue to prepare land in other locations, especially locations that have been purchased in previous years.
"Because some of the lands are still swamp," he expressed.
