Illegal Parking, 44 Vehicles in Kebayoran Lama Netted

44 two- and four-wheeled vehicles parked around Gandaria City Mall and Pondok Indah Mall, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta were netted by joint personnel of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Satpol PP, army and police.

"The raid is done to follow up public reports about illegal parking in the field," said Christianto, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Monday (1/8).

Of the 44 vehicles, 26 two-wheeled vehicles and 4 four-wheeled vehicles were flattened and 14 two-wheeled vehicles were grounded and then brought to Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Office.

Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Transportation Executing Unit Chairman, Irawan added, he would coordinate with the police after the raid. It was aimed to anticipate similar case at a later time.

"Hopefully this action can give deterrent effect and make them to obey the traffic rules in the future," he stressed.
