Illegal Parking, 227 Vehicles in Central Jakarta Netted

Due to illegal parking, around 227 vehicles were netted by joint personnel of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Tuesday (12/19). The raid was focused on Jl. Cempaka Putih Tengah, Jl. Percetakan Negara, Jl. Rawasari, Jl. Kramat Raya, Jl. Stasiun Senen, and Jl. Kenari.

Boval Juliansyah, Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. said that those personnel consisted of Transportation Sub-dept., army and police. 

Nine Illegal Parking Vehicles Netted in Pasar Rebo

Of 227 vehicles netted, 16 out of them were ticketed by Transportation Sub-dept. and 28 other vehicles were ticketed by the police.

There were also 140 two-wheeled vehicles flattened, 13 three-wheeled vehicles were flattened, and 13 four-wheeled vehicles were also flattened.

Then for 9 vehicles were towed, 19 motorcycles were grounded and 6 public transport vehicles' operational were revoked.

"This is our routine agenda that must be done," he expressed, Tuesday (12/19).

He added that the vehicles towed would be brought to IRTI Monas and vehicles grounded would be brought to Transportation Sub-dept.'s office.

"It's our way to give them deterrent effect to make them more obedient traffic rules," he stressed.
