Jakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said, his side removed the signs as the follow up of Supreme Court (MA) decision in cancelling Pergub No.141/2015 about Motorcycle Restriction.
Dishub Asked to Create Policy as Replacement of Motor Restriction"It has been decided and we remove traffic signs today. After we receive copy of MA decision, automatically it will be enacted," he conveyed at City Hall, Wednesday (1/10).
According to him, traffic sign removal doesn't need any special event. After all signs have been removed, motorcycle are allowed to pass by.
"There are not many motorcycle pass on those roads," he added.
He explained, in the future his side will re-survey and re-analyze another policy to reduce traffic jam in main roads. Because those roads have implemented odd-even system.
