FGD About Traffic Management Held Along Jalan Sudirman and MH Thamrin

Jakarta Transportation Dept. is holding Focus Group Discussion (FGD) about Transport Demand Management (TDM), especially along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin. It is held to get input on the policies to be implemented on the protocol roads.

This is for information enrichment with more comprehensive research and data as a report material to the governor

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Deputy Head, Sigit Widjatmoko said, FGD is conducted to enrich information, especially information from transportation experts.

"This is for information enrichment with more comprehensive research and data as a report material to the governor," he expressed, at Jati Baru Technical Dept., Wednesday (11/15).

One of the discussions in the FGD is related to vehicle restrictions on Jalan MH Thamrin and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.

"This is not to set one policy. But the material enrichment, as a form of report from Transportation Dept. related to the future policy," he told.

In the event, there are various experts and the transportation community such as Jakarta City Transport Council (DTKJ), Pedestrian Coalition, and the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI).
