Jakarta and Yuzawa Agree to Promote Each Cities Tourism

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan welcomed Yuzawa Mayor, Masayuki Takamura visit at City Hall.

So, tourists in Yuzawa could know about Jakarta tourism and vice versa

Both sides have agreement to promote each tourism potentials.

"Yuzawa is one of Japan cities which offered ecotourism," he said, Thursday (1/11).

He explained, Yuzawa population is around 8,000 people and number of tourists who come to Yuzawa City reaches 440 thousand people per year. Thus his side wants to build cooperation in promoting Jakarta to tourists who visit Yuzawa.

Besides, Jakarta Provincial Government plans to invite Yuzawa Government to Jak Carnaval event.

"Point of our discussion is exchanging tourism. So, tourists in Yuzawa could know about Jakarta tourism and vice versa," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Yuzawa Mayor, Masayuki Takamura appreciates Jakarta Government's greetings. He hopes his side not only cooperates in tourism, but also in culture and development.

"Hopefully understanding between us could be built more cooperation in the future. Not only in tourism, but also in culture and development," he expressed.
