OK OTrip Tapping Machine Installation Begins

Jakarta Transportation Dept. began to install tapping machines on 100 medium-sized buses.

Tapping machine installation is currently prioritized for 100 medium-sized buses

Those buses will be operated on OK OTrip program trial that falls on January 15. 

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah said tapping machine installation on bus will be executed on January 10-15.

"Tapping machine installation is currently prioritized for 100 medium-sized buses," he told, Thursday (1/11).

In the meantime, Train and Public Transportation Section Head, Fajar Nugrahaini added, after installation, bus stop signs will also be installed at some points.

"What is currently being prepared is vehicle checking, installation of tapping machine on bus and bus stop sign installation," he told.

Eventually the bus may only stop picking up and dropping off passengers at a predetermined point and installed with signs. OTrip OK trial will be held for three months from January 15-April 15.

As known, at least four areas will be trialled. They are like Lebak Bulus, Duren Sawit, Warakas and Jelambar.
