596 joint personnel are alerted in 2018 Lintas Jaya Operation to optimize traffic flow in the capital, particularly at traffic jam-prone points.
Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said that those personnel consist of 95 personnel of army, 149 personnel of Polda Metro Jaya and 352 personnel of Jakarta Transportation Dept. The operation is aimed to create safe and orderly conditions and situations.

According to him, it is also aimed to control and supervise orderly administration of public transport and goods transport.
"The main focus is traffic jam-prone points and places that rampant with practice of violation," he told.
He mentions there are some areas of concern. Among them are such as Senen, Roxy, Harmony, and Tanah Abang, Kelapa Gading, Bintang Mas, Pluit, Marunda, and Cilincing.
There are also Grogol, Glodok, Kota Tua, Slipi, Lebak Bulus, Pondok Pinang, Blok M, Mampang and Kasablanka. Lastly there are Kampung Melayu Terminal, Jatinegara Terminal, Matraman Terminal, Rawamangun Terminal, Pulogadung Terminal and Kampung Rambutan Terminal.
"I hope our personnel will also focus and make sure to bring awareness of the people to always be in an orderly manner," he uttered.
At the same place, Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah asserted his dept. would conduct the raid against violations in the field. Among other things are such as route irregularities, public minivans that pick up passenger illegally, illegal parking up to drivers who do contra flow.
"This is the attention of us all thus this bad habit doesn't repeat again this year," he said.
