Jakarta Provincial Government today started the home construction through Rp 0 down payment housing program.

"Other requirements are in accordance with the terms of the scheme of government's housing loan liquidity facility (FLPP)," he furthered.
He explained, the home would be sold under a financing scheme of FLPP via Regional Business Service Agency (BLUD) that will soon be formed.
FLPP is a housing finance with a subsidy scheme for local government cooperation with a national bank that has provided the facility. The offered interest is quite low, which is five percent and flat during the installment period of up to 20 years.
In the program, the city is about to cover the amount of down payment (DP) and interest of prospective customers. DP subsidy is targeted at one percent and interest subsidy is five percent per year.
Here requirements that must be fulfilled to have Rp 0 down payment housing, as follow:
- The recipient is an Indonesian citizen (WNI) and is domiciled in Jakarta
The recipient is 21 years old or has been married; Recipients and husband/wife have no home and have never received government subsidies for home ownership
- Have a salary or basic income not exceeding Rp 7 million for Prosperous Home

Have a working period or a minimum of one year. Have Taxpayer Number (NPWP) or Annual Income Tax Return (SPT) of Personal Income Tax (PPh) based on prevailing laws.
