Kedaung Kali Angke KIR Test Uses Drive Thru System

Kedaung Kali Angke UPPKB, West Jakarta applies drive thru system to minimize long queue in KIR test.

Driver can stay in their cars from registration counter until they get technical test result

Kedaung Kali Angke UPPKB Head, Hendrico Tampubolon said, through this system, driver doesn't need to get-off from vehicles to run the test.

"Driver can stay in their cars from registration counter until they get technical test result. Retribution is also paid in second booth through DKI Bank personnel before testing their vehicles," he explained, Friday (1/19).

Kir Test Retribution at Ujung Menteng UP PKN Reached Rp 16.01 B

He mentioned, KIR test for one vehicle takes around 20 minutes through this system.

"Kedaung Kali Angke PKB provides six lanes for vehicle under eight tons with West Jakarta STNK," he added.

He informed, currently his side limits 200 vehicles per day for KIR test.

"We limit it thus KIR test can run effectively. If the number exceeds 200 vehicles, we will ask them to come next day," he said.

He hopes DKI Bank applies online registration system for KIR test in Kedaung Kali Angke.

"Online registration can reduce queue in entrance. We hope this system could be realized soon," he expressed.
