Sandi Inaugurates Mataram Lights Park

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, inaugurated the Mataram Lights Park, on Jalan Mataram, Selong, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The park was previously dark, but now it can be enjoyed with colorful lights.

"This park is full of memories for me, so I'm happy. PLN parties pay attention to the parks in Jakarta. Our concept is all park in Jakarta, park not garden," he expressed, Friday (1/26).

Sandi Wants Tourism Potential In Jakarta to Be Optimized

He asks for regional working unit (UKPD) related to maintenance of the park. "Forestry Sub-Dept. will maintain its lights by coordinating with sub-district head," he explained.

In the meantime, PTPLN Distribusi Jakarta Raya General Manager, Ikhsan Assad uttered, two-kilometer LED lamp is installed in the park. The required light power is 9,000 watts.

"We've spent Rp 100 million for this. For three months ahead, maintenance will be responsibly of PLN, and then will handed over to South Jakarta Forestry Sub-Dept.," he said.
