The revitalization of Bidadari Island recreational site in Untung Jawa Urban Village, South Seribu Islands Sub-district is targeted to be completed in the upcoming April.

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno expressed, revitalization is carried out by PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol with theme "Soul of Batavia". By so, 43 cottages nuanced Betawi, Chinatown, and Dutch have been built. They are equipped by swimming pool and two dorms. 

"We hope what we have done like this can attract more tourists in the future," he hoped, Monday (1/29).

According to him, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol will also provide an information center about development of Jakarta from time to time, as a form of education to visitors or tourists.

"Every spot on Bidadari Island must be interested thus many people make a documentation and published it via social media. I hope PT PLN wants to contribute in beautifying the island," he stated.

He hoped revitalization and development of tour site as wide as 6.35 hectares could be directly proportional to the increase in existing lodging occupancy.

"Its occupancy is minimally between 70-80 percent. Especially every weekend, it is very sustainable," he exclaimed.
