West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi, stated Pekojan Urban Village to arrange environment on Jalan Pekojan III that looks chaotic with the existence of street vendors (PKL) and illegal parking.

"Environment on Jalan Pekojan III looks chaotic with PKL and illegal parking. It must be arranged," he expressed, Thursday (2/1).

He stated its existence has caused road narrows and traffic jam.

"Vehicles in the field just use one road, as some are occupied by PKL and illegal parking," he told.

Responding on this matter, Pekojan Urban Village Head, Tri Prasetyo Utomo admitted PKL data collection is still under process. Even his side also coordinates with PT KAI to make a temporary shelter.

"We're still reviewing to develop temporary shelter for vendors," he stated.
