City Launches OKE OCE Tech

Jakarta Provincial Government officially launched OKE OCE Tech. Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno expressed it is made as a new initiative that has a passion for developing and advancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem based on digital and technology in Indonesia.

"OK OCE Tech is to further empower startup business in the field of technology," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (2/1).

Fundamentally, he explained, the early growth of the startup business needs to focus on usability, benefits and market acceptance. So, it is not only expanding the valuation or value of the company.

"It must be able to create the impact of transformational power solutions to the problems and socio-economic needs around us," he stated.

According to him, OK OCE program is still identified with the business in the field of culinary, crafts, or fashion. Through OK OCE Tech is projected to produce more startup in the field of technology.

"The important is able to open jobs, produce social unicorn, and realize the expectations of Jakartans," he stated.

OK OCE Tech Accelerator Chairman, Husni Fuad revealed, various programs will run such as, startup accelerator, technology expertise training, and innovation cooperation with companies or industries.

"Registration is opened up to February 19, 2018 at http://okoce.tech or just by filling out the registration form at http://goo.gl/ainqew," he told.

Husni added, the announcement of the accelerator participants was done on February 20, 2018. Eventually, from the number of applicants will be selected to 15 startups.

"The acceleration program begins in March 2018. It is open to all who are interested in developing based-digital or technology business," he said.
