Council Welcomes Work Visit of Seoul DPRD Members

15 members of Seoul City DPRD, South Korea today conducts a working visit (kunker) to Jakarta DPRD.

We ask South Korea to invest in Jakarta, especially in the field of infrastructure

In the visit, Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi and several faction representatives officially welcomed them.

South Korea Interested to Invest in Seribu Islands

He stated, it is a return visits after Jakarta DPRD visited South Korea last month.

"We ask South Korea to invest in Jakarta, especially in the field of infrastructure," he expressed, on the 10th floor of City Council building, Monday (2/5).

According to him, most South Korean automotive production has entered Indonesia. But unfortunately there has been no South Korean investor who invests and contributes in road infrastructure sector.

"Thus far the active cooperation is social sector in the form of training of beauty experts, furniture experts and graphic design through social institutions in Jakarta," he stated.

At the same time, Seoul City DPRD Chairman, Kim Jin Soo hoped that the visit could strengthen the friendship of both countries and make cooperation of experts exchange.

"We want it, as Indonesia has good natural resources and smart human resources," he uttered.
