Water Level at Manggarai Floodgate Recedes

Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD)'s Informatics Section Head, Helma Dahlia said water level at Manggarai Floodgate reached 855 cm at 9 AM, Tuesday (2/6). Previously, it reached 900 cm at 3 AM.

Currently water level at Manggarai Floodgate has receded. From 900 cm at 3 AM reduced into 855 cm at 9 AM

"Currently water level at Manggarai Floodgate has receded. From 900 cm at 3 AM reduced into 855 cm at 9 AM," she informed.

According to BPBD data, water level in several floodgates had also receded from 3 AM to 9 AM. Such as Katulampa Floodgate from 80 cm to 70 cm, Karet Floodgate from 560 cm to 540 cm.

Floodwaters in Rambutan Urban Village Start to Recede

But, water level at Pasar Ikan Floodgate had increased. At 4 AM, water level increased from 180 cm into 185 cm. Then at 5 AM, it increased into 189 cm, but it began to recede into 180 cm this afternoon.

"Water level at Cipinang Hulu Post also receded from 125 cm to 100 cm. It means, current water level condition has receded both in dam and post," she stated.
