2,512 Tons of Trash Transported From Ciliwung

This time, Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. has collected and transported trash from Ciliwung River with total 2,512 tons.

"Post flood, we have transported 2,512 tons of trash," said Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta LH Dept., Thursday (2/8).

Trash Transportation Under Ciliwung Bridge Completed

He explained, his side transported 96 tons of trash from Season City West Flood Canal (BKB), 552 tons from Manggarai Floodgate, and 1,864 tons from Kampung Melayu.

"Most trash are collected from Kampung Melayu," he conveyed.

He mentioned to deploy 233 dump trucks to transport trash from Kampung Melayu.

While in Season City BKB, he only deployed 12 trucks.

"Then 92 trucks in Manggarai Floodgate," he added.
