LH Dept. Has Cleaned Ciliwung River Flow From Trash

Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. ensures three locations along Ciliwung River are clean from trash. Those are Season City West Flood Canal (BKB), Manggarai Floodgate, and Kampung Melayu Bridge.

Alhamdulillah this morning it is all clean

"Based on morning report, those three locations are clean from trash," informed Isnawa Adji, Head of LH Dept., Friday (2/9).

2,512 Tons of Trash Transported From Ciliwung

According to him, his side has transported 2,512 tons of trash from Ciliwung River on Thursday (2/8) which consist of 96 tons from Season City BKB, 552 tons from Manggarai Floodgate, and 1,864 tons from Kampung Melayu Bridge.

"Alhamdulillah this morning it is all clean," he expressed.

But, his side will still prepare heavy equipment and personnel in those three locations along Ciliwung River.

"When water level at Ciliwung upstream becomes high, trash will be drifted here," he mentioned.
