Heavy rain falls in Central Jakarta today. Jalan Kota Baru Bandar Kemayoran Underpass is inundated and triggered traffic jam on vehicles that want to go to Jalan Angkasa from Pademangan.

It is also located in the basin area

Kemayoran Sub-district Head, Herry Purnama said, Kemayoran Complex Central Management has operated four pumps at the underpass.

"It is also located in the basin area," he conveyed, Thursday (2/15).

According to him, inundation in underpass could reach to 130 cm. Joint personnel from Water Resources Sub-dept., Gulkarmat Sub-dept., and PPSU have been deployed to handle it.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head, Hardisiswan stated that his side not deploys mobile pump yet due to rain.

"It is still raining. We will deploy mobile pump after rain has stopped," he added.
