We will propose sheet pile installation budget in State Budget 2018 Amendment

Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC) Head, Jarot Widyoko mentioned, collapsed road and embankment will be repaired temporarily using gabion wall. But later it will be repaired permanently using sheet pile.

"We will propose sheet pile installation budget in State Budget 2018 Amendment. But if it can't be done, we will propose it for budget 2019," he said, Friday (2/16).

He explained, his side will coordinate with Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Kemen PUPR) for permanent repair.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said, so far his side still does not know for sure the cause for collapsed road and embankment.

"It should be investigated by geologist to know the real cause. This is important to be known thus in the future people can anticipate it," he conveyed.
