East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) will install 200 square meters of yellow box this year. It will be installed in several traffic light spots in 10 sub-districts.

It is done to prevent traffic accident occurrence

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman said, yellow box installation is needed to control motorcycle's discipline near traffic light thus traffic accidents could be prevented.

"We will install 200 square meters of yellow box in several traffic light spots. It is done to prevent traffic accident occurrence," he mentioned, Monday (2/19).

According to him, yellow box is prioritized to be installed in crowded traffic light spots. Yellow box lines are glowing at night thus road users will be easy to see it.

"One of traffic light sp ots that will be installed with yellow box is traffic light in front of Pancasila Sakti Lubang Buaya Museum," he added.
