Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno conveyed, Jetro supports micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Japan through One Village One Product (OVOP) system since 1979. While Jakarta has One Kecamatan One Center for Entrepreneurship (OK OCE).
"We want business matching thus UMKM from both sides can collaborate," he stated, Tuesday (2/27).
Commission B: OK OCE Can Improve Economy of PeopleIn the future, he wants Jakarta Government to cooperate with Jetro in order to form small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) or UMKM support center.
"Recently, there are many startup UMKM or IT-based pioneer business which need to be facilitated," he mentioned.
He hopes this cooperation to open more new job opportunities and make investment in Jakarta growing.
"It is hoped Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in Jakarta could be increased through appear of new UMKMs," he added.
