Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. targets all fresh commodities sold in traditional and modern markets in Jakarta are free from hazardous substances.

"Almost everyday I visit markets to check and ensure its commodities are free from hazardous substances such as formalin, rhodamine, borax and others," stated Darjamuni, Head of Jakarta KPKP Dept., Wednesday ( 2/28).
Five Markets in East Jakarta Are Free From Hazardous SubstancesAccording to him, not only fresh commodities such as meat and chicken, but his side also intensifies test to ensure consumption feasibility towards foods sold in markets.
"Because we still found unworthy products for consumption in supermarket. We have tested it," he stated.
Thus his side ensures to continue food testing thus all food products in Jakarta are completely safe to be consumed.
"We also conduct test on food in markets owned by government such as Food Station and central market," he added.
