Tourism Dept. to Facilitate Citizens Visit Museums in Jakarta

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. is about to facilitate citizens who want to visit the museum through the Grebek Museum program.

We'll help them by providing facilities from the government via the Grebek Museum program

Tinia Budiati, Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. expressed the program is the direction of Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan who wants a regular visit for the citizens to the 72 museums in Jakarta.

"We'll help them by providing facilities from the government via the Grebek Museum program," she stated, at City Hall, Thursday (3/1).

He explained, the ease in question is by providing free transportation every weekend to serve citizens. The program is targeted to begin in May with a predetermined schedule.

"For instance, residents from Senen region will visit Setu Babakan, we will prepare the vehicle later," she explained.

According to her, the schedule of visits to the museum will be disseminated via application and official site belongs to Jakarta Provincial Government. In the program, his party will involve Jakarta Transportation Dept. to prepare the route and its fleet.

"Hopefully, via this program, museums in Jakarta can be a place of interaction and improve the knowledge of citizens," he stated.
