Cakung Lama River dredging at RW 05, Rawa Ternate Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta is targeted to completed in three months.

East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-Dept. Head, Mustajab mentioned, Cakung Lama River dredging has been started since a week ago. His side also deploys two excavators which are long arm excavator and amphibious excavator.
Cakung Lama River in Rawa Ternate Dredged"We are dredging Cakung Lama River and targeting it to complete in next three months. Hopefully it can overcome flood that usually happens in Rawa Ternate," he explained, Monday (3/5).
Around six kilometers river is dredged. Its condition is full of mud and trash while its depth is only one meter. Later his side will dredge it to about 2.5 meters depth.
"We will dredge it to 2.5 meters depth. By using two heavy equipment, we hope dredging process can be accelerated," he said.
