Anies and Denmark Ambassador Discuss About Waste Management

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan received visit from Denmark Ambassador, Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen at City Hall. This meeting was held to review about waste management in Jakarta.

We will use it as the material in making waste management plans in Jakarta

Anies said, Denmark Ambassador submitted master plan proposal related to waste management in Jakarta as the result of Danish International Development Agency observation.

"It is a very important document. We will use it as the material in making waste management plans in Jakarta," he explained, Thursday (3/8).

He explained, Jakarta will be a host for experts visit from Nordic countries such as Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

"That meeting will be a moment to discuss and share experiences related to urban planning," he conveyed.

He added, both sides were not only discuss about waste problems and urban planning, but also about Cities Changing Diabetes. It is a cooperative program in order to handle diabetes.

"We will learn more about their offered aspects and things that can be supported by us," he stated.
