Sandi Reviews Bantargebang Landfill

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, reviewed the Bantargebang Landfill, Bekasi, West Java, Friday (3/9).

Currently many changes have begun

Self-Manage Bantargebang Able to Save Budget Up to Rp 170 B

Afterwards, after reviewing garbage processing machines and storage facilities, he expressed, Bantargebang began to be self-managed by Jakarta Provincial Government since 2016.

"This is our challenge to continue to clean up, as there is a huge opportunity to make garbage as a blessing because it is managed well," he exclaimed, Friday (3/9).

He wanted garbage management could continue to be done better and not inferior to cities in other countries.

"So this is a new paradigm in the management of municipal garbage. Currently many changes have begun," he uttered. 

On the other hand, Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Aji expressed that Bantargebang continues to be improved. Besides road access, greening is also a concern.

"With the support of Mr. Anies and Mr. Sandi, we will also optimize the use of technology to process garbage," he stressed.
