The widening of Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapagading, is still stagnated until now. The faced obstacle is the existence of a mosque in such land. To demolish it, there must be permit from Religious Ministry first.

As known, the widening plan on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan is conducted for Transjakarta bus corridor along Jalan Perintis Kemderdekaan. The land acquisition process has been ongoing in 2011 and is still leaving land as wide as 195 meters.

North Jakarta City Secretary, Junaedi admitted previously, one plot of land already acquired at the end of this year. "The land on behalf of H Zahri has been acquired at the end of last year. But now, the place only leaves the Ar-Rahman Mosque," he expressed, Friday (7/11).

He furthered his side keeps trying persuade the Religious Ministry to issue the permit. "The mosque stood atop a waqf land. To demolish it, we should have permit from Religious Ministry," he stated.
