12 Illegal TPSs in North Jakarta Closed Down

It has been noted that North Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. has closed down 12 illegal temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) along January-March 2018.

That's why we coordinate with the urban village and Satpol PP to close them down

North Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Head, Slamet Riyadi stated, illegal TPSs that have been closed down are located on the roadside and often complained by locals due to rotten smell.

"That's why we coordinate with the urban village and Satpol PP to close them down," he states, Tuesday (3/13).

He said those 12 illegal TPSs are Pokdar TPS RW 08 Warakas Urban Village, Naryo TPS RW 10 Warakas Urban Village, GG 21 TPS RW 07 Papanggo Urban Village, Metro Kencana TPS RW 11 Papanggo Urban Village, Kampung Mangga TPS Jalan Plumpang Semper, Tugu Utara Urban Village and Pertamina TPS RW 16 Jalan Kramat Jaya Tugu Utara Urban Village. 

There are also TPS on Jalan Gabus RW 07 Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Stadion Tugu TPS Jalan Pegangsaan Dua, TPS near Astra Auto Part on Jalan Pegangsaan Dua, Kondominium TPS on Jalan Arteri, Utara Ujung TPS on Jalan Hibrida Utara Kelapa Gading and TPS on Jalan Kampung Bandan Ancol Urban Village.

"For further handling will be coordinated with local urban village. Waste will be managed and accommodated in a big tub and then transported on schedule,"  stated.
